How do referrals work?

We accept referrals from local authorities and social care professionals for emergency and assessment placements, available 24/7. For referrals, please email referrals@svccare.co.uk

What age groups do you support?

Young people in the range of 5–17, of any gender, particularly those with SEMH, ASD, ADHD or placement breakdown history.

Can placements move longer term?

Yes. Assessment placements include coordinated transition planning to long-term homes, schools, or independent living paths.

How is therapeutic care delivered?

Our team are PACE trained and offer emotional and behavioural therapeutic planning, including trauma-informed psychological assessments and interventions.

What recreational or learning activities are available?

Young people engage in a wide range of activities—cycle rides, cinema trips, sports, arts projects and life-skills coaching.

What qualifications do your staff hold?

Our team includes experienced residential support workers, key workers, and therapeutic care specialists trained in trauma-informed care, safeguarding, and child development.

How do you ensure the safety and wellbeing of young people?

We maintain strict safeguarding protocols, regular staff training, 24/7 supervision, and tailored risk assessments to ensure a secure and supportive environment.

Can family contact be maintained during placement?

Yes. Where appropriate, we encourage and facilitate contact with family members in coordination with the placing authority and care plans.
